Selected for its unique taste and historical value the Waite Vineyard was planted in the 1950's and is a traditional dry grown, bush vines. Naturally low-yielding our Grenache spends minimal time in oak producing a lighter bodied red full of the traditional earthy flavours associated with this varietal.
Spiced Cherry with hints of white pepper
The palate is rich with spiced cherries hints of white pepper and a cherry like character, soft yet pronounced tannins leaves you with a traditional savoury finish.
