Deep red in colour with a purple red hue. Intense brooding aromas of both red and dark berry with touches of pepper, vanilla and allspice are seen on the nose....and an indication of things to come.
These flavours are carried onto the palate and open up with even greater intensity and succu?lence. The palate is generous, laden with red berry, blackberry, tar, cedar with a lifted pepper punch. Tannins are silky and refined adding a decadence and definition. A perfectly balanced wine, currently showing the bright fruits of youth, yet with the substance and concentration to reward careful maturation for the medium term.
